Poligny: a journey into the world of Comté cheese

As an ancient fortified town and a Cité de Caractère (Town of Character), Poligny unveils its myriad treasures along the Circuit de la Tour. These include Saint-Hippolyte Collegiate Church, the ruins of Grimont Castle, the wine-growing districts, the Jacobins wine cellar, the courtyard of the Ursulines, and so much more.
Step off the beaten track
For a family outing near Poligny, head to the Besain karst trail.
